Belize, thanks to its natural beauty and to its strategic geographic position, is considered a Country of great interest to persons of cinema and those of  Economy and  Finance.

In fact, the famous film producer  Francis Ford Coppola, besides possessing  a Diplomatic Passaport from the Authorities of Belize, owns two hotels of which  Blacaneaux Lodge, situated near Tikal and Caracol, two of the most important and spectacular Maya Centres in the Country   (link: www.blancaneauxlodge.com) and Turtle Inn, situated at Placencia, a fishing village in the southern part of Belize (link: www.turtleinn.com).

In addition,  the noted American film actor Leonardo di Caprio acquired  in June 2005 a small island called Blackdore  Caye, close to Ambergris Caye, where he intends to construct a splendid five star Hotel for rich eco-conscience tourists.
In fact ,  Di Caprio intends to use renewable  source of energy  in a manner in which the island will alone provide its energy needs.
           
Cameron Diaz, the beautiful American actress, visited the island of Ambergris Caye in 2003 near the famous Hotel Mata Chica  (link: www.matachica.com), to relax  after her strenuous cinematic obligations.

The famous multimillionaire Bill Gates visited briefly in April 2006 the Island of South Water Caye,  and was shocked by the beauty of the locality.
