Tourism is the soul of Belize.  In the Government program, tourism is considered the pillar of the Country’s economy, together with agriculture.
In the Ministry of Tourism, a “Belize Tourism Board” has been established, with the purpose of managing and running the resources of the Country, to warrant an eco-cultural tourism.  Therefore,  a remarkable economic growth is permitted, saving the nature and the environment.
The “Belize Tourism Board” carries on its activity with the aim of fostering cooperation between the Government and private organizations, through a careful analysis of the market trend,  then organizing programs of development. In this way, the requests and needs of the local tourist  structures are satisfied in real time.
